The EP Horns of Pestilence was recorded, mixed, and mastered between December 15th, 2025, and July 22nd, 2026. On these tracks, a main vocal line has been implemented that Wargoatcult had never used before. More groove and heaviness were brought into the music, but without ever losing the brutality, power, and speed that characterize the band—thus creating more complex structures while managing to remain equally linear.
